Day 1

Upon your arrival in Cairns, you will be greeted and transferred from the airport to your 4 Star hotel, the Mercure Hotel Harbourside. The Mercure Hotel Harbourside is situated on a tranquil location on Cairns Esplanade overlooking the beautiful Trinity Bay and surrounding parklands. This facility contains 197 air-conditioned rooms with balcony, mini-bar and TV. This property features 2 restaurants, bar, 24-hour room service, free shuttle bus to the local area, and tour desk. Studio suite has a kitchenette.

Day 2

Sail from Cairns abroad a 104-foot catamaran, to Michaelmas Cay - a white sand oasis in a turquoise sea and a sanctuary for wildlife. Included are transfers, tropical buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea, use of snorkeling equipment, coral viewing in semi-submersible viewer, an informative talk by a marine biologist, and live entertainment when sailing home. Tour is 8 ½ hours and departs daily at 8:30 am.

Day 3

Pick up on a luxury coach to the railway station to board the Kuranda Scenic Rail. This breathtaking journey on one of the world's most scenic train routes will take you through hand-hewn tunnels and across bridges with amazing views. Stop at Barron Gorge to view the waterfalls before arriving at beautiful Kuranda station. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the "Village in the Rainforest." Visit the Heritage Markets, which operate daily, or perhaps visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Birdworld or the Kuranda Koala Gardens (own expense). At the scheduled time, board Skyrail for the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. Glide over the Rainforest canopy and take advantage of the two stops en route to enjoy a walk through the rainforest or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Your journey ends at Caravonica Lakes where your coach is waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Day 4

Explore the city of Cairns at your own Leisure today. Take a walk along the esplanade and shop at the little boutiques for unique Australian treasures.
